Thomas P. Fitzgerald, CPA

Tom joined Carver Moquist & O'Connor in June of 1999. He is currently a tax manager, and has over 8 years of public accounting experience. Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Professional Focus

Tom’s primary focus is on tax preparation and planning services for closely-held businesses and their owners. He also consults clients on small business accounting and payroll tax issues as well as assisting in resolving IRS and other governmental matters. In addition, Tom provides team leadership and training in implementing improved processes for the tax practice.

Personal Interests

Tom resides in Bloomington, Minnesota. In his spare time, he enjoys playing softball and golf, watching and attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
