Michael J. Latterell, CPA

Mike joined Carver Moquist & O’Connor (CMO) at our Plymouth office in November 2006. He has over 8 years of experience in S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Partnership, LLC, LLP and individual tax issues, along with significant experience in audits, reviews and compilations. He also has extensive experience as a retirement accountant, managing 401(k) and other benefit plans. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota; in May 1996. Mike is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Professional Focus

At Carver Moquist & O’Connor, Mike’s focus is on providing proactive value-added tax services to closely held businesses and individuals. Mike also assists clients with proper entity selection, forecasting and budgeting, debt financing assistance, and exit strategies. As a manager, Mike also provides training, leadership and mentoring to staff accountants.

Personal Interests

Mike resides in New Hope, Minnesota. In his spare time, he enjoys running, biking, hunting, fishing and travel. In addition, Mike serves on the board of directors of several community banks, and is a member of Business to Business Networkers, where he holds the position of Treasurer.
