Mike has over 15 years of public accounting and legal experience, specializing in income and estate tax planning and compliance as well as numerous other issues relative to small business and small business start-ups. He has worked with a wide range of industries including construction, food service, health care and property management.

Mike received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law and his Batchelor of Arts Degree from Macalester College. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association.

Professional Focus

Mike concentrates on providing planning for ‘emerging’ and existing businesses assisting clients with proper entity selection, shareholder compensation issues, purchase agreements, buy/sell agreements, simple and complex income and estate tax planning, and business succession issues. He is also involved with assisting clients in back office efficiency and business integration services such as payroll, bill paying, and monthly reporting issues.

Personal Interests

Mike and his wife and two children reside in rural Hastings, MN. He enjoys hunting, fishing and hockey.
