Melinda (Lindy) Fischer, CPA

Lindy is a senior manager at CMO with over fifteen years of public accounting experience.  She has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, medical services, legal services, wholesale and retail.  Her interests include consulting, tax planning and compliance work for privately-held businesses and their owners.  Lindy is also the director of qualified plan services for CMO.

Lindy received her bachelor degree while living in Richmond, Virginia and completed her MBA while working for CMO in 2002.  She is currently a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Lindy has served on numerous committees with the MNCPA, and with the American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA).

Professional Focus

With her combined knowledge of qualified plans and income tax laws, Lindy helps design and administer retirement plans to meet the needs of business owners.  In addition, she does tax planning and business consulting throughout the year.

Personal Interests

Lindy lives in Eden Prairie with her husband, Joel, and their twins, Brenna and Davis. As a family, they enjoy spending time biking, boating and swimming. They also enjoy volunteer activities with the local elderly community and their church. Lindy is a board member at a local women and family shelter.
