Matthew received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Winona State University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1999. In August of 2005, he became a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), a credential granted by the AICPA only to CPAs recognized for the unique ability to bridge business and technology. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Information Technology Section of the AICPA.
