Jim W. Steiner, CPA

Jim is an audit and accounting partner with Carver Moquist & O'Connor, and has over 20 years of combined experience in public accounting and private industry. During Jim’s 10 years of experience in private industry, he served as Vice President of Finance for a privately held manufacturer, and as CFO and COO for a start-up manufacturing company. With over 10 years of experience in public accounting, beginning with McGladrey & Pullen and later as a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jim has had significant involvement with the financial and accounting issues facing small to medium sized privately held and public clients, in a variety of industries including telecom, software, medical devices, manufacturing and system integration.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He has memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
