Jay S. Dunphy, CPA
Jay, Director of Assurance Services with Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann Kennedy & Pieper LLC, has over 16 years of experience specializing in audit and accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory services. He also has extensive experience in service, manufacturing, construction, printing, software, and mortgage industries, as well as franchises and not-for-profit organizations.
Jay received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College in Winona, Minnesota. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Minnesota Association of Public Accountants and Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. Jay is on the Minnesota Society of Public Accountants Ethics Committee and also belongs to the Management Assistance Program for Non-Profits as a voluntary board member to one of its members.

Personal Interests
Jay, along with his wife and two sons reside in Bloomington. Jay has volunteered for the following organizations: Minnesota Valley Humane Society Board of Directors, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Habitat for Humanity, St. Mary’s University, American Cancer Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Jay enjoys spending his leisure time with family and friends, as well as golfing, biking, running and traveling in the US and abroad.
